Yesterday I managed to get back to the Hull History Centre and made some fantastic finds. I searched the Parish Registers of Holy Trinity Church and located;

• William Stephenson’s birth entry with his father’s name listed (This would be Robert D’Onston Stephenson’s Great Grandfather).

• William Stephenson’s christening entry.

• William Stephenson’s death entry.

• Mary Ann Stephenson’s birth entry with William Stephenson and his wife’s name listed. Mary Ann is Robert D’Onston Stephenson’s aunt, and Richard Stephenson’s sister. This find gave me confirmation of the names of Robert D’Onston Stephenson’s grandparents on his fathers side.

• Mary Ann Stephenson’s christening entry.

• Mary Ann Stephenson’s marriage entry with Richard Stephenson and Mary Ann Dawber as witnesses.

• Mary Ann Stephenson in the Census.

• Ann Lambert’s death entry.

• Ann Lambert in the Census.
