Back Church Lane 1989

I took this in about 1989. The reason being, the buildings nearest to the camera were similar in style to the ones in Henriques Street. Thankfully I did as they no longer stand, modern flats have since been built on the site. The house stuck between the outgrowing trees? was formally ‘The Cherry Tree’ Public House. This row of houses were on the Western side of Back Church Lane by the Fairclough Street junction and some of them could be seen from the Henriques Street and Fairclough Street junction.

The warehouses which begin just past the last tree still stand and have been converted into flats.
