im looking forward to reading this book, lets hope its as good as it sounds, i myself have always suspected james maybrick, the amazing thing to me is how the ripper managed to do 2 murders in 1 night, in such a small area with police everywhere, maybrick i beleive had an office/or work premises in whitechapel. he could of washed/ changed clothes etc then gone back out to murder again, also it would be a quick escape.did maybrick have an office/ or company premises in whitechapel or have i been misled?

Possilbly the best piece of evidence is the dear boss letter. Interesting that it is extremely neat and there are no spelling mistakes. Are there hand writing samples of some of the suspects like Montague Druitt and William Gull? Hand writing comparisons can be done if there is enough to compare. Good luck.

If you happen to catch this film, keep an eye out for a scene involving a certain "familiar" web site. (That is, assuming it didn't get left on the editing floor!) :-)

I agree, this is a great find indeed.
Very interesting. Congratulations to Tim and the Rip as well.

For the record, I don't think anyone's said that interesting new material never would surface, because history has showed us that new stuff comes to light all the time.
What people has been saying, including myself, is that material containing strong enough evidence for SOLVING THE CASE most likely never will surface. So that's entirely different.
Finds that sheds light on other aspects of the case, however, will always come up now and then thanks to dedicated researchers, and this particular find is an example of that.

Whoever started this thread...I agree with you. This is a fantastic find.

Not only is it an indicator that material people thought would never surface...eventually surface...but it puts a face on a "suspect". Great job by Tim Riordan.

The Ripperological community is indebted to Tim and the "RIP" for its efforts.

Richard Stephenson, Robert D'Onston Stephenson was the Vice Consul to Uruguay for several years, just another little coincidence!

The book looks good but the only Spanish I know is learnt from "Dora the Explorer"!!
